BREAKING: Music legend Bruce Springsteen just released this incredible song that will be sure to piss Trump off beyond belief. “Streets of Minneapolis”. He wrote this song about Alex Pretti and Renée Good Saturday and recorded it yesterday. Share it far and wide and play it as loud as you can
Rock icon Bruce Springsteen has dropped a blistering new protest track titled **”Streets of Minneapolis,”** dedicated to the memory of Alex Pretti and Renée Good, two Minneapolis residents fatally shot by federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents during recent protests against aggressive immigration enforcement operations in the city.
In a post accompanying the release, Springsteen explained he wrote the song on Saturday, recorded it Sunday (yesterday), and made it available today in direct response to what he called “state terror” unfolding under the current administration.
The track, available now on major streaming platforms and YouTube, features raw, urgent lyrics referencing “Trump’s federal thugs,” “King Trump,” and the snowy streets where Pretti and Good lost their lives.
Key lines from the song include:
> “And there were bloody footprints / Where mercy should have stood / And two dead left to die on snow-filled streets / Alex Pretti and Renee Good”
The release comes amid heightened national controversy over federal agents’ deployment in Minneapolis, which critics have described as heavy-handed and militarized.
Springsteen has previously spoken out against the tactics, dedicating a live performance of “The Promised Land” to Renée Good and calling for ICE to leave the city.

Fans and supporters quickly flooded social media with praise, urging others to stream, download, and share the track widely.
Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-Minn.) thanked Springsteen publicly, calling it “a powerful tribute to Renee Good and Alex Pretti and to the strength of the people of Minnesota.”
The White House has not yet commented on the song, but conservative commentators have already labeled it another example of celebrity activism targeting President Trump.
“Streets of Minneapolis” is available for immediate streaming and download. Springsteen encouraged listeners to “stay free” in his dedication.
