PRESIDENT Donald Trump sent a comical message to Taylor Swift and the Kansas City Chiefs during the Super Bowl-champion Philadelphia Eagles’ visit to the White House.
The commander-in-chief hosted the Eagles at the White House thanks to their Super Bowl 59 blowout win over the Chiefs in February.
Trump stood at the podium on the South Lawn of the White House to congratulate the Eagles and their members on their second Super Bowl title in franchise history.
During the speech, the 47th president of the US joked about the music star Swift’s appearance when speaking about his attendance at the big game in New Orleans.
The 78-year-old made sure to remind the world that Swift, who was at the Super Bowl to cheer on her boyfriend, Chiefs star Travis Kelce, was booed on the jumbotron at the Caesars Superdome, while he was cheered by fans in the stadium.
“I watched in person, I was there along with Taylor Swift. How did that work out?” Trump said.
The Eagles players and the crowd laughed at Trump’s remarks concerning Chiefs star Travis Kelce’s girlfriend.
Trump’s latest words on Swift aren’t the first time he’s made fun of her appearance at the Super Bowl.
After making history as the first sitting President to attend the Super Bowl, Trump wrote on Truth Social, “The only one that had a tougher night than the Kansas City Chiefs was Taylor Swift.
“She got BOOED out of the Stadium.
