Alexandra Daddario Is a Mom! Actress Welcomes First Baby with Husband Andrew Form
The White Lotus star, 38, welcomed her first baby with husband Andrew Form, announcing the exciting news on Instagram.
“I thought this was a weird bowl of candy,” Daddario captioned the Oct. 31 post. The photo shows her newborn swaddled in a blanket covered in mini candies, the perfect nod to Halloween.
The actress has yet to share the baby’s name or gender.
Daddario is also stepmom to Form’s two kids, Rowan and Julian, whom he shares with his ex-wife Jordana Brewster.
In July, Daddario announced with Vogue that she was expecting her first baby with Form after nearly four years together.
The outlet shared that the Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief star had been keeping her pregnancy under wraps for six months.
Vogue also posted the announcement on its official Instagram account, sharing serval pictures of Daddario cradling her baby bump.
Daddario told Vogue that she was “overjoyed” to be pregnant, going on to share she previously experienced a pregnancy loss. “Well, I had been pregnant,” she said, adding, “I had loss.”
“It’s long and complicated, so I don’t want to be too specific,” she continued. “Those kinds of losses and trauma are very hard to explain unless you’ve been through them.
I really relate to all the women who have been through those kinds of things in a way that I didn’t understand fully before. It’s very, very painful.”
On May 13, 2021, Daddario made her relationship with Form public by posting a romantic black-and-white photo on Instagram.
Later that year, a source confirmed to PEOPLE that the two were engaged.
Roughly six months after getting engaged, Form and Daddario said their “I dos” in New Orleans.
The couple met by chance during the COVID-19 pandemic when they bumped into each other on the street in New York.
Daddario shared her happiness on Instagram, writing, “The absolutely most wonderful man, you handle nonsense, loss, life, difficulty, people, with grace and compassion.”
She added that Form took the “worst moments” of her life and made everything better.
