Just In: Harry ‘Felt Sick’ by William’s 4-Word Remark Ahead of His Wedding to Meghan: ‘Sorry Harold….Read More 👇

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle tied the knot in a lavish ceremony in 2018. Prince William proudly stood by Harry’s side as his best man, returning the favor after his brother fulfilled the same duty at his wedding.
In his memoir, Harry, however, recalls ‘feeling sick’ over his brother’s odd behavior just hours before the royal wedding.
In Spare, Harry recounted reminding William of their tradition, which they undertook on the night of William’s wedding. As reported by the Daily Record, both brothers had dined together before greeting the public. Before Harry’s big day, however, William allegedly questioned their need to greet the masses. He allegedly said, “Why are you even saying hello to the crowds, Harold?” leading Harry to confess, “I felt sick about it.” The Duke admitted that even though William was in two minds about greeting the people, he eventually did budge.
He added, “Maybe Granny intervened,” speculating that the late Queen helped William change his mind.
Harry also recalled how he was sipping drinks with pals at the Coworth Park Hotel, where he spent the night before the wedding.
He claimed William, who was supposed to join them, cancelled at the ‘last minute’ citing ‘Kate and the kids.’ The Prince of Wales also refused to dine with Harry and stay the night, allegedly saying, “Sorry, Harold. Can’t. Kids.” Despite William’s odd behavior before the nuptials, all went well the next day.
While William fulfilled his bestman duties well, he was reportedly not the first choice for it. According to Harper’s Bazaar, Harry revealed in his memoir that he had chosen his ‘old mate Charlie’ as his best man. He speculated that this may have had something to do with William’s behavior before his wedding.
Harry penned, “Was he feeling bad about not being my best man? Was he upset that I’d asked my old mate Charlie? (The Palace put out the story that Willy was the best man, as they’d done with me when he and Kate married.) Could that be part of it?”
Reportedly, the Palace wanted William to be the best man so as not to have the news coverage focus on an outsider.
William allegedly took his role as best man too seriously. As reported by The Sunday Times, he pulled a prank on Harry at the reception and ‘floored’ some of the guests in the process.
Harry, at the time, had fallen off a ladder while changing a lightbulb, so William cheekily tied a ladder to the back of his brother and Markle’s car as a nod to the incident.
Sadly, his relationship with Harry has drastically changed after his wedding to Markle. In Spare, Harry mentioned that William once called Markle ‘difficult,’ ‘rude,’ and ‘abrasive’ during a confrontation at his London home.
The confrontation escalated to the point that William allegedly grabbed him ‘by the collar’ and ripped his necklace, knocking him ‘to the floor’.
