Trump gave a speech on the White House lawn as head coach Ryan Day and Ohio State’s players were behind him.

During the speech, the president turned to see Howard, who was standing behind him.

“Where’s Will? I wanna see this guy,” Trump said, before saying to Howard, “You are fantastic.”

Trump then had a six-word message for Howard.

“Oh, he’s gonna be so rich,” he said as Howard could be seen laughing at the remark.

Social media users were in hysterics over Trump’s comment about Howard.

“Howard’s stock just went up haha,” one wrote.

“Hilarious stuff,” another commented.

I love this,” a third added.

Trump also shared positive words for Buckeyes wide receiver Jeremiah Smith, who recorded 76 receptions for 1,315 yards and 15 touchdowns last season.

“I shouldn’t say this but coach was giving Jeremiah major praise back stage…. he said we have a guy he may be the best ever,” Trump said.

Howard recorded 83 passing touchdowns and 26 rushing scores in his Ohio State.

He started 16 games last year and led the program to a national championship win over Notre Dame.

However, Howard is projected to be a second or third-round pick in the upcoming NFL Draft.

“I believe I’m the best quarterback in this class. I think there’s unbelievable talent,” Howard said to ESPN last week.

“But if you’re going to be a competitor, at the end of the day, you have to have that belief in yourself.

“And I think that’s what helps me get through those adverse times.

“S**t happens. You’ve got to be able to deal with it, and it’s the mentally tough people that are able to overcome those things.

And I’ve realized it’s a never-ending cycle.”

Nonetheless, Howard will surely see Cam Ward selected as the No. 1 overall pick, and possibly other quarterbacks taken in the first round, which include Shedeur Sanders, Jaxson Dart, and Jalen Milroe.
